We sold Icon as a yearling to KQ Cattle Company and they utilized him for a few years primarily in their commercial operation where he proved to be a reliable calving ease sire. With our 3/8 Simmental x 5/8 Brahman cow herd growing, we needed a good 3/4 Simmental x 1/4 Brahman bull to utilize on them as well as the remainder of the cow herd. Icon is sired by the 2012 Grand Champion Simmental Bull at the National Western in Denver FBFS Wheel Man and out of the Reserve Grand Champion Simbrah Heifer at the Simbrah Roundup and Houston Jr. Show LMC Daydream.
